Printing Backwards

My network printer prints backwards type from my Vista Operating system. It
works fine from XP. Does anyone know a fix for this. My printer is an HP
5740.

Try doing a search in this newsgroup on "mirror" -- there have been other
queries about this, for example here is one suggested answer:

<< I just installed a driver for the DeskJet 3840 series and in the
"Finishing" tab of the printer properties is a checkbox for "Mirror Image".
 Make sure this is not set; if it is not try checking it and see if this
corrects the problem. >>
 
Known problem. Set it to print in 'reverse order' and it will print the
'right' way round.
