Printing an attachment in Email

IT is a DOC File but will not allow me to print with the following message,

"No program associated with it. Create an association in Set Associations
control panel" ? Can you help , Thanks Graya
 
Do you have MS office installed on your computer or at least MS Word?
VISTA does not have the capability to print .doc files without Word installed.
 
Paul , I have MS Works , will this work ? Graham
