I have a slide with two hyperlinks to open a Word document, which gives
the user option to open the document and print them.
But now, I'm asked if the hyperlink can instead open & print the
document in the background without the user being taken away from the
presentation. Is this possible using VBScript?
Right now, it works this way:
Slide#54 has 2 hyperlinks
1) HWDC Instructions in NT
2) HWDC Instructions in XP
If the user clicks on one of the links above, it opens up the document
in MS Word. The user then needs to click the print button from MS Word
and then close MS Word to return to the slide.
What we want to do is, when the user clicks on one of the links above
-- it will 'not' open MS Word on top of MS Powerpoint but instead to
open and print the document w/out any extra input from the user. Does
that make sense? Please let me know if it doesn't and I'll try to
elaborate it further.
Thanks for the help.
