printers

Hello all, I am in need of some input as to which brand of printers
are the most reliable. My needs are photo,card reader, and scanner
copier, and must not have a 2 cartridge system. Anyone with any advice
please let me know. Thanks for any help that you have put forward.

There are folks who could give you a line up here but you stand a better
choice of suggestions if you would post to comp.periphs.printers as well.

For reliability, probably the HP office grade printers.

Why the limitation on 2 cartridges? Is 1 not enough or 4 too many?

I agree with the HP recommendation, but check again - he said that he didn't
want 2 cartridges.

Canon i960 A work horse, includes the photo Cyan and Magenta dyes.. Great
trouble free printer.

Exactly. Does he want less than 2 or more than 2? I don't know of any HPs
off hand that use 2. Mine uses 4. Individual cartridges are cheaper to use
in the long run, because you only replace the color that runs out.

JPS, I agree the i960 is a great printer. But, where would you find one
today.?
I checked the hardware seller websites, Amazon, eBay, Canon eStore, to no
avail.
