Somebody knows if it is possible to add a printer to an embedded system once
it has been released?

Thanks
Max

The only way I have found is to run the setup utility that comes with the
printer. The help system needs to be built into the image, since Printers
require the help engine.

Max,

You can run printui.dll from either a script or a command line. You need to
have \windows\inf\ntprint.inf and unidrv.hlp included also.

Sorry, but I've tried to install some printers using sean method and Dean
method without success.

I have an USB printer to install, but I find three problems:

1: I don't know which kind of "help system" to install in order to use Sean
method (I have to maintain a little image)

2: Manually launching the "add printer" wizard I don't find the USB port
where the printer is connected (and switched on), the USB port is
functioning because of I have an USB smartcard reader connected successfully

3: I have also tried to add my printer model in the target designer but
nothing appens

Could somebody help me?

Thanks
Max
