I have a problem on my XP Professional SP2 system.
When I try and open the "Printers and Faxes" folder in Control Panel
(or any of the shortcuts to it from other places) I just get an
hourglass for a long while and then nothing.
It used to work and I have (had?) two printers installed. They are
both local (but networked) printers, i.e. they were installed directly
on the computer where the above problem is happening but are accessed
via a small LAN.
When I try and print it now says "No default printer".
What might be wrong and/or how can I diagnose this problem? It's
*possible* that some networking changes might have caused this but
absolutely everything else seems to be working OK and another XP
computer on the same LAN can still access the same two printers OK.
