When I print something, I get a blank page before and after printing. Why
is this? Can I correct this?
 
What printer? I get the same on a HP DeskJet 935C, not always, but often.
That is the strange part

Look for an updated printer driver from the printer manufacturer site.
Look in their support forums, or FAQ for similar issues too.

You have most likely checked a box putting the printer on a network
queue....allowing a "Separator" Page. This "blank" page is supposed to
hold your name etc in a queue of other users of the same printer
"separating" your work from others.
 
If you right click on your printer, select properties and then the advanced
tab is there a separator button?
 
When I get as far as the separator pages, it tells me that I have none. I
don't want to mess around too much for fear that I might actually louse up
the printing altogether. I'll just live with those confounded pages.
