Printer won't print

I've got a strange problem. My printers will no longer
print on my computer. They will print on another system,
so it's not the printer or the cables.

One day my printers would print and the next they won't.
It started after I had to turn off a printer in the
middle of a printing assignment because I selected the
wrong printer in Windows. I have a HP deskjet and a HP
Laserjet and they're both on the system as printers. The
HP deskjet was printing, but I selected the Laserjet so
it was printing weird text, so I had to turn the power
off on the Deskjet to stop it.

Now, Windows will not print at all. I've tried
uninstalling the Printer Port, deleting the printers and
loading the drivers again. Nothing works. XP used to
plug and play the printers but now it won't even do that.

If there's anyone that understands or has knowledge on
how to defeat this problem, I'd appreciate some sharing.

Thanks a bunch,

Adam
