Ever since I had a paper jam, I can't get my HP deskjet printer to print.
I've deleted everything in the queue, rebooted the PC and tried to print
again.
The prointer is on with no blinking lights.
When I try to print, the que staus on the document says 'Error Printing'.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
I am running XP Pro.

You haven't "deleted everything in the queue" -- or you wouldn't see the
"error printing" status message in the queue.

Open a command prompt [Start --> Run then type cmd <enter>] and enter the
following commands:

net stop spooler
net start spooler
exit

Given a certain set of operating circumstances, it can happen that
somerthing is left in the spooler directoryt that should have been
deleted. This can cause the symptom you describe.

If you still cannot print after implementing Lem's suggestion: navigate to
the spooler directory and delete everything found there.

The default spooler directory is ususally
C:\Windows\system32\spool\printers
