printer won't down load

I just put in window xp and now my printer won't work it say it can't find spooler sub systema ap
can anyone help me with this

If you upgraded, you should also uninstall and reinstall as you've corrupted
the drivers by keeping the printer connected during the upgrade.

By the way, you CANNOT download a printer... it won't fit through the
largest T3 line, let alone a DSL or dial up connection! But the subject
line did make me smile!
