Printer Wizard will not initialize

After reinstalling Windows XP Home, then updating all
service packs and critical updates, I am unable to click
on ADD a Printer and have the wizard initialize. Can you
help? Any ideas?

From the Start, Run....

type

sfc /scannow

It should restore the Add Printer Wizard function.
