Printer spooler... help

I've tried most of the threads available on this heading... but nothing seems
to work.
My printer just disappered. I Have an HP 5610, and reinstalled it twice,
the software works perfectly but i just can't print.
Also, I have tried the command prompts and and such, and still didn't
work..and still get "print spooler service is not running"

I'd appreciate any advice.. thanks
