Printer software confilcts

A huge HP printer softerware bundle causes my wireless internet connection to
be lost overnight, and in the morning, I see many error messages.

Separately, many of the path names show a capital letter W with a cross mark
through it. What is this? I never noticed it before, and I wonder if it
coincides with the HP software install.

I would appreciate any comment on the above. Thank you.

It's not something I've seen before.... have you done the obvious.... run an
antivirus scan with updated signatures, run an anti spyware scan etc
