i recently upgraded my desktop computer from windows 98
first edition to windows 2000 professional. after that i
installed a pinter on the computer and set it to share. on
my laptop i have windows XP professional and it is
wirelessly networked to a router that is connected to my
cable modem. i cant see my desktop from my laptop in my
network places and visa versa. i can ping back and forth
using ip addresses and i get replys from both. so i know
that they are communicating. i can get out to the internet
from both computers just fine and i everything else works
fine. niether computer has a firewall so that cant be an
issue. i need to know how i can get my laptop to conect to
the printer connected to my desktop. any suggestions are
welcome.
