Printer Share in XP won't work

I have two computers on the same network at work. Both
are running XP but only one has a printer (let's call it
Puter1). I have gone through and clicked on "Shared
Printing" and the second machine (without a physical
printer...we'll nickname it Puter2) has had the shared
printer set as the default. A test page from Puter2
prints fine. Anything else, however, just shows up
momentarily in the print window on Puter1 before
disappearing without a print at all. Any ideas??

If the drive where the jobs are spooled is NTFS (default is
windows\system32\printers), it sounds like a permission problem in the spool
drive. I have seen where some printers require access to a reg key but try
the disk permissions first. If that does not work let us know what the
driver is.
