Carrie

I keep getting this message that says that I have an error
with my printer setup when I try to print slides off
Powerpoint but I can print fine from all other sources. I
looked at the solutions online and did all of them except
a printer path that I have to type in and I don't know
what I am supposed to type in. Please help!

Sounds like it wants a path to a printer. Suppose you were at work on a network. It might want something like \\printers\\hpsomethin

At home tho, it may just want LPT
That's a shot in the dark more than anything. (I saw the MS Technet article http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;223016&Product=ppt2000, but you're right--it doesn't seem to offer much.

Short of that, just reinstall your printer

Hope this helps

PowerPoint does not play well with only network printers. It likes to have
a locally installed printer driver (physical printer optional). Try to
install a local print driver.

PowerPoint uses the print driver (some have guessed) to help in some of it's
rendering functions. If it has to go looking for one on a network, it
doesn't think you care enough to give it it's own. The program becomes
despondent and pops an error or two. :)
