I set up users on my Windows XP Home Edition. When
mutltiple users are logged on the user that logs on first
is able to use the printer. The other users get a
message that the printer is unable to communicate. If
the person that has the printer rights logs off another
person can connect to the printer.

Is there a setting that will enable the printer to be
shared by all that are logged on???

Thanks in advance for any help....

It sounds like the driver is not Fast User Switching (FUS) aware. HP had
an issue when XP first came out but they fixed their drivers. Other vendors
had issues in this area as well. Verify with the manufacture that they have
resolved this issue and you have the latest driver. If the driver is one
shipped on the XP CD, please give me the model.
