Hi!

On our school domain I have a printer installed on the server and
shared to other computers via a script. For some reason the printer
has different settings when it is installed on the workstation, than
it does on the server. For example, on the workstation the paper type
defaults to Letter when on the server it is set to A4. When applying
the changes on the workstation, the paper type defaults back to Letter
after a restart.

Is there some kind of Local Printer Settings I can change, and for the
changes to be kept?

Thanks!

Ben.

Are you sure that all the PCs are in the same country? By that I mean in
the Regional and Language Settings in Control Panel! You might also check
the drivers on each PC... are they from the UK website of the printer
manufacturer or is one of them from a US site.

They are all in same country.

The workstations get the driver directly from the server when the
printer is added.

Check the settings on the Server.
