Printer resources not available

Configuration
Windows XP Pro to Windows XP Pro using Remote Desktop over a SonicWall Pro 300 VPN tunnel

I am able to connect to the remote machine and my local disk resources are available. However, my local printers are not available. Any suggestions of how I can print to my local printer from a remote session

You have to have the printer driver for you local printer installed on the remote machine and select printers under Local Devices under the "Local Resources" tab in your RDC.
 
When you start the Remote Desktop Connection application (mstsc.exe), click
on the Options tab and then click on the LocalResources tab. Make sure you
have Printers enabled.
