Printer Redirection

Hello,

I seem to have found a little information on setting up rdp to use the local
printers on the remotely connected machine. someone had posted asking if
there were any errors in the event log, well, i checked mine and it's telling
me that there aren't any printer drivers, although rdp says it is supposed to
automatically install the printer drivers. how am i supposed to install a
printer driver for a printer that doesn't exists, except only in an rdp
session?
 
Hi,

You have to install only the driver on the server. You can install it from:
- Control Panel -> Printers
- Open File -> Server Properties
- Select the Driver tab
- Add Driver
