The HP Printer that this office has on this tiny network
is able to print, however, the Printer Message Que on
Windows is stalled stating that the next printing item
is "Deleting-Printing". This item also has 0 pages and 0
bytes. It has been 2.5 hours that this item has been
deleting. How do I remove the item so that the office is
able to print again on our only printer? I have already
shut down my computer and the printer [printer is hooked
up to my computer even though on network]. This problem
has occurred before, however, not to this extent. Anyone's
feedback would be helpful.

Thank you

The printer all of a sudden starting working again, not
sure how it happened. Any ideas?

Hi,

A good trick here is to start and stop the spooler service. Either use
the services function from the control panel (admin tools) or from the
command line:

net stop spooler
net start spooler

that should help clear through stuck jobs.

Kris.
