Printer properties when served from win 2000 server

Hello,

We have a printer served out from a Win 2000 server.
I want to set all the PCs to print from tray 2 by default
except for the accounts PC which will print to Tray 1.

All Clients are running Win 2000 Pro.
I open the printer properties from a client and click
printing prefs.Then click the paper tab and set source to
tray 2.

It seems to take a long time to apply.
The when I print from an appliaction it just prints from
the same tray it was last set at.

How do I set the default tray from Windows I don't have to
setup the trays for each app on each printer do I?

I create a seperate printer for each tray, which I set into preferences.
