PRINTER PROBS EPSON C20UX!!

Hi l have changed my coloured ink today as l have done
for the last 2 years without any problem. Today after
changing the ink my printer will not print and l am
getting error message saying my printer may need
maintainace! Both lights are flashing (turn on/off green
and red button) l have tried the trouble shooter but
still cant solve the problem. My pc and printer have been
together for over 2 years so nothing has changed apart
from the ink installation today :( The red button does
not seem to be responding at all no tests will print
either or cleaning! Anyone have any idea how l can sort
this please? Thank you
 
Try turning the printer off and then on again.... just in case.... but it
may be some hardware failure inside the printer which is impossible to
diagnose on a newgroup and needs some technical assistance from Epson
themselves.

Alternatively it could be a bad cartridge.... there are a few that slip
through the quality control every now and again.

Thank you Cari will try a new ink tommorow. The prinrer
switches on ok does its start up then the blinking red
light starts flashing lol well the red and green buttons
start a sequence of flashing on and off ;( turns each! I
get a maintance call 'Parts inside your printer require
maintenance or replacement. Contact your dealer.' Now l
have emailed them but so far no reply ;( It is the 1st
time l have used this topic in the newsgroup but it looks
as if theres a few printer probs around at moment it is
so frustrating:( Thank you
