I have a server running windows 2000 server software. I am
having difficulty getting the remote client to print
locally on their hp deskjet 960c printer. I realize the
the driver on both the remote client and the server must
be identical the driver on the server is listed as hp
deskjet 960c series with the version being listed in the
server properties as windows 2000. The remote client lists
the same printer name but with the version listed as
windows 2000 or XP. I anticipate the problem lies in the
version listing. How can I get them to match? The driver
currently at HP for this printer seems to be the windows
2000 or XP version. I would be easier for my to do any
needed modifications to the server as the remote computer
is not easily accessable. HELP
