I have to reinstall my printer drivers, HP deskjet 855c,
every time I start my computer. It does not remember my
drivers that I installed when I added the printer from
the last start-up. Please help! I would like for the
operating system to remember the drivers so I do not have
to go through this ritual to get my printer to print.
I purchased my computer with a Window Me operating
system. The printer worked fine with this operating
system. The manufacturer of my computer, Dell, offer the
Window XP operating system when it was available. It was
sent later for installation. After I received it, I
installed the new operating system. Now, the printer
does not work without me going through the above
procedure every time that I log-on.
