printer problem

my computer will not recognize the printer which is a
hp700 series. i have tried using the wizard and not
using it. can you please help me? the printer itself
will run a test page and the computer tells me it is
ready but somehow the message does not get from the
cpmputer to the printer. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you running windows xp? If you are xp doesn't

recogninze all printers. Try installing with the disk
that came with the printer and when you see a screen that
says not compatible. click continue anyway. do this every
time you see that window
