Windows XP printer problem

i am using windows xp operating system. in my system when i try to share a printer connected to my system itself, an error message is coming, like - "Printer settings could not be saved. operation could not be completed" - what can i do to share my printer

Sounds like a drver problem more than a windows problem - does the printer work ok from your pc?
