Printer Problem

Any document or spreadsheet I try to print produces blank sheets but prints
any graphics that may be inluded, all alpha numeric data is missing.

Have tried reinstalling printer driver, checked data cables , done self test
on printer(disconnected from computer) and this OK; nozzle check print is
OK; Sample page from printer utility does not print.

I conclude it is the application; but it happens with various
programs/applications i.e. MS-Word; Lotus 123 and Web pages, including PDF
files.

How do I solve this problem?- didnt have one a few days ago!?

Try reinstalling the printer driver, and/or a different
driver version. Also in the printer properties try
different modes, like "Raw" instead of postscript... along
with the other options in the Printer Properties in Control
Panel.
 
Tried new downloaded driver - no success. Printer properties(Epson Stylus
850 Colour dont have different modes.

Interesting problem:

Have you eliminated the printer as the problem?
Maybe the os?
It cant be all those applications, therefore it might be somthing with the
printer(try the printer on another system) or another printer on your
computer if available.
REMEMBER ALSO TO DELETE THE PRINTER DRIVER THEN REINSTALL IT. I once had a
user with a similiar problem, a usb printer we tried everything, and it
turned out to be the usb port was bad.
