Hi Group

I have a problem with my printer (Epson Photo Stylus 750) when using
Photoshop 7. When I commence to print the job commences and appears to be
running fine. It then 'aborts' the job expelling the copy with little on it.
It also continues to feed paper and only stops when I abort the process. I
am running Windows 98Se. If I attempt to print the 'photo' using copy paper
it is fine. The problem only arises when using Photo paper. (Epson Photo
Quality Glossy Paper)

Any ideas on what may be wrong?

Thanking you all

I hope that the Epson driver program has something called "print
monitor" or alike ,where you can add more memory to this application.

Hi

Thanks for your advice but could you go into a little more detail as I am
still at a loss as to what I should do.

Cheers

Sounds like you may be running out either virtual memory or more
likely spool space for the print job. Choosing a higher quality paper
also chooses higher resolution.

Check how much free disk space you have on the C: Also check how
Windows is managing virtual memory, right click on My Computer and
look through the systems tabs. I don't remember off-hand the
appropriate tab for 98. Delete temp files(look in C:\tmp and/or
c:\temp, and clear out your browser cache(s). Then defragment the hard
disk. You're going to need several hundred meg free for spooling
alone. If you are allowing Windows to manage virtual memory that will
also share free space on the drive.

I am so sorry. I am a Mac user. On Mac this problem, you have, is solved
the way I indicated.
But, but look at the answer you got from Ed Ruf.I think he has the
solution for a Windows user,as you are.

Best wishes
