Can anyone help me here;
The Magenta prints in a 2mm band of dark and 2mm band of light magenta leaving any print banded across the page continuously in 2mm bands. The printer test shows the light magenta strip perfect and the intense magenta test strip half light half dark in colour density. No amount of cleaning has made any difference or changing of cartridge.
This problem happened after a cartridge change but have not been able to shake it.
Is this a common problem with the iP5000 printer (out of warranty) and does it mean I need new heads.
And OK. I use the no name ink - not wanting to activate any bias here but never previously had any problem.
