Description:
The Parallel port driver service failed to start due to the following error:
The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it
has no enabled devices associated with it.

I don't know how to start this service. I know it is parport.sys that is not
running, but I do not know how to start this. If anyone can please help I
would be very appreciative.

Thank you

No it wasn't. I figured it out, but I still can not get my printer switch to
work. I think it may be that the manual switch does not like my laser
printer. I heve turned off bi-directional printing due to the fact that the
switch does not support it. When I select the printer and choose to print
from notepad or word it warms up as usual, but doesn't ever start, and then
the other printer on the switch starts printing off garbage.

Well I could try a 36 pin to usb cable. Didn't want to spend the extra money,
but it might be my only choice, and then they could just choose which printer
they wanted to use and select it from there.
