I recently switched to Windows XP from 98 - I had been
using the custom paper size option for printing on custom
made paper. Now that we have gone to XP - I can't find an
option for custom? Is this still available? I am trying
to print invoices from Quickbooks Pro on 3-ply continous
feed paper that is 8.5 wide by 7 inches long. Any help
will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Danielle,

It sounds like the native printer driver on Windows XP is being used. You
will have to get a custom printer driver on the internet. Just simply go to
the website of your printer's manufacturer and look for some links for
downloading printer drivers. You will just have to input the model number
of the printer, directions for installation should be provided, and the
download should be free of charge.

Printer problems

Hi,

did you try looking in printer properties?

1. Go start menu and select "Settings" and then "Printers and Faxes"
2. Make sure the printer is installed
3. Right-click over the printer icon and in the open dialog menu select properties
4. New dialog window will open on your screen where you should be able to find "Printing Preferences"
5. In the printing preferences window you should be customize your print setting

Hope this helps!

I don't see the OP, but "custom sizes" are set up at the "Print Server"

Start, Settings, R-click Printers and Faxes, Open, File, Server
Properties, Forms, make the new size there.
