I am trying to print multiple pages of a 15MB document. What happens is
that if, for example, I request it to print 10 copies, the spool file
will show it "counting" up to 15mb of 150MB total. The first copy will
print at that time, and then there is a delay as it spools the next 15MB
of data (30 of 150), and then the 2nd page prints, and so on. It takes
several minutes to print each document.
My question is this, isn't there a way where the file will just spool
"once", and since it is the same file, continue printing each successive
page without having to entirely spool the document each and every time?
The box for "Spool print documents so program finishes printing faster"
is checked.
Also "Start printing immediately" is checked
*Document: Quark Express 6, full 8-1/2" x 11" page with graphics and
text
*OS: W2k, SP4
*Printer: HP-4500 color laserjet w/190MB memory / PCL6 driver
*HD: plenty of space available
