Printer Offline

Both of my printers have a status of "Offline" and I
cannot print to either one. How do I get the status back
to "Ready"? I have WinXP and I do have a network.

did you try going to control panel, go to printers and

faxes, right click on printer see if theres a check mark
next to use printer offline , there shouldnt be

Yes, There is no "Use printer offline" because the
printer IS offline already. There is a menu entry that
says "Use printer online". When I click on that I get a
dialog message that says, "Operation could not be
completed." Any ideas?
