Printer not printing

printer not printing put in new cartridge it photo copies
OK printer got jammed before it went wrong printing
invitation cards for club. (I am not very bright learning
things) but try. The Manual does not tell me how to put
it right printer is HP Officejet Pro 1150C bear with me I
am an old codger
