Printer Not Printing

I have a Lexmark 12 Printer. I refilled the Ink Cartridge with Wall-Mart
refilling kit. (the color is black) When I Put the cartridge in and try
to print it says cartridge not found. If I put an "empty" Color
cartridge in, "it will try to print". I doubt if the colors have
anything to do with it. I would appreciate an answer to my Problem T/Y

The ink is definitely not the problem here. Have you tried cleaning the
contacts at the back of the cartridge? If that does not work then it looks like
the cartridge has failed.
Unfortunately that means buying a new cartridge.
