This is really getting on my nerves. My $2000 printer worked perfect in
every OS up until win2k. Now the margins are all screwed up. I know
several other people have this same problem and either HP or MS won't
fix the problem. But there has to be some way to fix it. Does anyone
know the file format of the right files and how I might be able to
modify them so I can get the margins right? My printer is an HP
LaserJet 4V.

Please explain "margins all screwed up".

There was a problem with Word and some of the HP LaserJet 4000 series
drivers that caused Word to set the bottom margin (Portrait) to 2.67 inches
because it misinterpreted the size of the non-printable area. This problem
was corrected in subsequently released drivers on the HP web site.
