G Guest Dec 21, 2005 #2 there isn't one as far as i know. you can set a policy to make it easier for the user community to search/add printers, but as far as creating 'network printer obj' on the local workstations, i think the only way to accomplish this is via a script.

It´s in your new coming operating system -> Vista Wow, that´s a reason to start migration in summer ;-) Take a look at PolicyMaker from DesktopStandard. They can handle that and a lot of more things, you are missing today. Mark
