I am experiencing the problem described in Q298370, but
the workaround is not working. I have contacted the owner
of the PC and she doesn't know / cant find out what the
previous printer model was. I have tried letting the
wizard complete with various printer brands / models, but
the wizard keeps starting and I cant at this stage
install another printer.
At present there are no printers or faxes installed,
there is no printing software installed, and no printers
plugged in.
Is there a way to stop the printer instalation wizard
from starting every time I start windows without knowing
what the previous printer was?
