J John A Dec 2, 2003 #3 XP installed basic driver for your printer - download the printer driver from the manufacturer's web site - but make sure the driver is XP compatible. If the printer is old (eg Epson colour 400) no updated XP driver is provided but you can download a utility to display ink status etc. John Allen
