printer hp1050c on xp network problem

I have a hp1050c on an XP network (6 computers) i have
the 1050c shared through my computer and none of the
computers are able to print until i send a print 1st and
then all the others are able to print. weird
 
Its not enabled and does not allow me too

monitors require admin access before they get initialized. Disable
bi-directional support and see if this clears up the issue.

how is the printer attached to the computer? USB?

Alan, I would also like to tell you that by putting my
email address up i open the door to getting 15 or so
email viruses a day (the "microsoft update") I know it
was an option but i didnt epect that...didnt know if you
guys knew
