Printer hp CPI 1700(urgent)

Hi i have a printer Hp cpi 1700
on the lcd display it indicates the printer cartridge colours have
expired and i cannot use the printer.
i cannot use the black cartridge also.
plz help
how can i bypass this...
there is ink the cartridges.
i have disconect the usb also but it is the same...
is there a way how to reset the printer date?

plz help...

there is a lot of misinformation on that page with regards to 56/57
cartridges (and others), but it may help you with the CP 1700. Be aware
that there is a risk to using "old" ink, it is possible to clog the plumbing
and printheads.
