I have a Dell desktop with the Dell All in One
connected. I also have a Dell laptop I would like to
hook to the same Dell All in one.

How do I set up both computers so that I can use the same
printer for both computers?
Thanks

You can install the printer drivers on both computers. If
you network the printers you can send print commands and
have access to the printer with both computers at same time
OR your can use the printer on one computer at a time by
switching the cable from computer to computer (presume you
are using a USB connection).

as a suggestion this is my setup:
usb cable from XP box to HP printer
old parallel cable from win3.1 to same HP printer
prints from both computers.
if you have usb from both computers find usb switch box
or connect/unconnect/connect as needed.

Hi,

You have two choices.

1. You can simply install the all in one drivers on the laptop if the all in one printer is using USB connection.

2. Connect the 2 PCs using a lan cable and run the "Network Setup Wizard" for printer sharing. The model of the lan cable should be RJ45 but I'm not sure; pls consult with the computer accessories shop.
To set up printer sharing:
Go to control panel and click the printers and faxes icon, right click the all in one printer icon and click properties, click the Sharing tab then click the Network Setup Wizard, follow the prompt to complete the setup.
