Hi All
Whets the best way to set up my printers?
I work at a school with 5 different buildings each containing its own
network printer.
Atm the workstations within each building have there own driver installed
for the printer.
I want to change that so each workstation shares the printer from a new 2000
DC \ Printserver in my office.
I have installed and shared in AD all the printers on the server.
My students have a mandatory profile loaded when logging on and they cannot
search AD.
I need to know the best way for a workstation, say in building A to load the
printer shared on the Server for building A
without any user intervention and at all user levels.
I think what i am trying to say I need it loaded on a "workstation location
basis" and not a user profile basis.
I have set up in AD OU's, Building A, building B etc and placed the correct
workstations in them corresponding to there location.
Any help or links would be great.
