Printer Help needed

I have three computers all using windows xp home edition,
and I have one printer set up and I would like to share
this printer to the other two computers allowing for
printing tasks. The printer is a Dell all in one
A920 ,and is set up as a shared printer, however its not
allowing for printing from the other two computers, an
error messages states there is not a network printer set
up to print from. If its set up as a shared printer on a
home network, why cant it perform print tasks on the
other two computers?
 
First, you should make sure all the PCs are in the same
workgroup. Go to network neighborhood and view the
entire network to see if you can see all 3 PCs. Usuall
the deafult group name is WORKGROUP. If you can see all
PCs, then you need to make sure that the printer is set
up with a share. Right click the printer and make sure
SHARE THIS PRINTER is selected. The PC that the printer
is connceted to needs to be turned on for the others to
print to it.
