Printer drivers?

Hey guys .... I've just upgraded to a new Compaq box running XP and kept my old peripherals. Everything works fine except my Canon LBP660 laser printer .... apparently there's no XP driver for it

OK ... I know its a low end printer, but its worked faultlessly for me and I'm loath to just consign it to a life as a paperweight if there's any chance of getting it to run on XP

Do I REALLY (!!!) have to go buy a new printer? Really ...?

Are there any Win2000 drivers for the printer? If so, these may work on Xp.
Barring this, you might be stuck with a paper weight. :(

| Thanks for that ... I downloaded and installed a W2000 driver from a
French site. It works fine except for a new-found willingness to feed
multiple sheets of paper at once and then advise me that I have used the
wrong paper size.

| Oh yes ... and the screen "printer messages" are now all in French!!!!
Anyone want a paperweight?
