Good afternoon,
I have a system with Windows XP Embedded and I want to know how I can
install of permanent form drivers of a new HP deskjet printer not included in
the original installation. Thank you very much by your aid.

Felix,

A few ways:
- rebuild the image with the missing printer driver component included this time
- install the driver at run time by using the driver installer (assuming you've got the installer required components in the
image as well as the driver dependencies). Typically this is the easiest way if you have the installer support in place.
- create a DUA or SMS update package *registry entries, files, etc.) by analyzing what the driver brings in (assuming you've got
either DUA or SMS working on your image)

I'm sorry, I am inexperienced in XP Embedded. I am the end user, and I do not
have the source code. I do not know what means DUA and SMS update package.

Felix,

You should contact your device manufacturer ad ask them how you install software on the device if it is allowed at all.
Unfortunately, we can't help you much here since we don't know anything about the image on your device. You may or may not have
components required for installing MSI packages, for instance. You may or may not have write filter drivers running on the system
and protecting the local storage.
