Help! My Cannon C755 no longer will communicate with my computer. Have
Windows XP SP2. The message I keep recieveing is: "Failed to register
MPService. Exe to windows NT as devices or services." I have contacted
Cannon support, they insturcted me to uninstall and reinstall the driver
after all spyware and virusscan software was turned off. The error message
continued. I was told that something is blocking the registry or the
registry was corrupt. When I Google the error message I have seen where
others have encountered the same problem but am unclear as to how they
corrected it. Any help would be much appreciated it.
 
When you uninstalled and reinstalled, did you download updated drivers from
the Canon website?
