Hello,
My problem is my printer keeps printing multiple copies. As
if I set it to X-number of copies. No matter what I print,
even the test page, it prints it over and over and over.
Windows 2000 sp4, network printer using RAW data to a plug
in print server. Another 2000 computer prints fine to it.
Tried uninstalling and deleting the driver and
reinstalling. Tried a different printer that never was
installed before. Binary compared mostly all files
associated to computer that works fine. Can print directly
to printer fine once, but the job doesn't delete from the
spool, so can't print anything else without
stopping/starting spoolsv.exe. Bi-directional check box
does nothing.
In the spool queue, it says printing... Few seconds later
it says printing...restarting. Then back to printing...
All the while its wasting my paper. No errors, messages
nothing. I have the lastest anitvirus.
Have not tried using parallel cable.
Like I said earlier, its as if I told it to print 100
copies of the same thing. Don't know how many it will
print, I have to stop it. Probably go on forever.
Any help at all will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jon
