printer dimensions

Hi I got this printer it is the Cannon LBP2900
It is a laser jet one got it pretty cheap

there are two problems with it:

1. the printer dimensions when I put something out the far right hand side does not get printed. it is so annoying how do i fix this?


2. the dialogue box that comes up when i print something
comes out in spanish, I think it is Spanish
it is so annoying!

thing is when i got the printer i never needed to put in the cd windows xp automatically configured it for me

any help is appreciated

Put the CD in and see what's on it, it may give you options for languages.

Similarly, take a look in Printer Properties.
 
unfortunetly the printer properties are in spanish

how would i get around this?

unistall the device and then reinstall using the cd?
